Heartwarming Stories from Our Adopters
I adopted Kita March 16, 2022 6 weeks after I lost my 12 year old girl! I was not looking for another dog, but a friend sent me a link to Kita, she looked so much like Kwe I had to go meet her and ended up bringing her home. Once we got through her separation anxiety, which I think all rescues have, she is the best girl! I’m so grateful you saved her so she could save me! I was struggling with my loss and Kita healed my heart! So thank Amazing Grace for all you do! I wouldn’t have Kita if it wasn’t for you! The pic with the cars is the day we brought her home.

In the early hours of May 3rd I was scrolling my Facebook when an ad from Amazing Grace’s page happened to pop up with a photo of a cat who looked almost identical to our Rome. I reacted quite quickly and put in a request to meet him that day.
I was told his name was Freddie. He was very shy when I went to visit him. But looking at him and his markings warmed my heart he shared so many similar features to Rome. The kicker was when I looked at his information card his birthday was the exact same day as Rome’s. It had to be fate.
I didn’t want to leave without him. The lovely staff at Amazing Grace provided a carry case because I forgot to bring one of my own. Freddie is now Julius Caesar Arizola but we call him Caesar. It took a bit of time but now him and his uncle Titus get along great. Caesar is no longer shy but quite a crazy kitty. He runs from one side of the house to the other. He climbs whatever he can climb. Caesar follows my son around the house as much as possible. He begs to be carried and loves kisses on his forehead.
